Partnerships Officer

Based at the NCR

The Partnerships Officer (PO) is responsible over-all partner relationships management and serve as point of contact with liaison to local and international partners.

The PO organizes and conducts activities that foster good relationships with local and international partners. It develops institutional marketing and promotion collaterals for local and international partners. Provides support to other Pillars in coordinating with partners.

The PO prepares regular reports on status of VF’s local and international partners and outcomes of each engagement.

Person Specifications and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in human and social sciences, or any of its equivalent
  • At least 3 years’ experience in working on Public Relation, marketing, project management in the development sector or any equivalent level of experience
  • Experience in managing ground and online fund raising, campaigns and online marketing
  • Can deal with various levels of stakeholders – from decision-makers to field-level practitioners
  • Advance Social media skills and other relevant computer and technological skills
  • A team player and output-oriented
  • Must have a high sense of urgency and well-developed work ethic
  • Proven ability in terms of verbal communication and report writing in English language

Projects and Policy Officer

Based at the NCR

The Projects and Policy Officer (PPO) is responsible for managing and monitoring the organization projects. He or She will lead the management team in conceptualizing programs and projects as a core part of VF’s intervention model approach. It is also lead in researches and studies conducting by the organization.

The PPO provides the required technical support and will be working  closely with the executive director and Pillar Heads in ensuring that projects and programs are in compliance with contracts and donor requirements. The PPO also works closely with the Partnerships Officer and maintains organizational database of partners and stakeholders.

Social Worker

Provide up to date status of all legal cases and document agreements during regular case conferences. To ensure provision of victims-survivors’ needs and to contribute on the transformation of child domestic workers, victims of trafficking and children at risk from conditions of vulnerability to a state of empowerment.

  • Conduct interviews and assessments to determine best interest of victims.
  • Conduct regular counselling sessions with individuals or by groups.
  • Ensure that intervention and/or treatment/healing plans of survivors are maintained and implemented.
  • Coordinate with Local Social Welfare Offices for the conduct of home visits and assessment of victim’s family.
  • Manage legal cases for court hearings and possible reports of corruption.
  • Provide venue for therapy and like skills, character-building, spiritual formations and recreational activities.
